In the post-Soviet period, “Kyrgyz Cognac” has continued to proudly uphold its status as the largest and finest cognac-producing plant in the country. At the first international cognac competition held in Tiraspol, Moldova (1997), among 20 participating cognac-producing factories: ⦁ “Manas-1000” Hors d’Age Cognac was awarded a gold medal and diploma, ⦁ “Kyrgyzstan” VVSOP and “Manas” XO received silver medals and diplomas, ⦁ the ordinary cognacs such as 3-Star and 5-Star “Bishkek” VSOP Cognacs, were awarded bronze medals and diplomas.

One of the largest enterprises and a national symbol

At the elite cognac competition held in Yerevan, Armenia (1997), Kyrgyz cognacs such as “Manas-1000” Hors d’Age and “Manas” XO were awarded gold medals and diplomas, while “Kyrgyzstan” VVSOP received a silver medal and diploma. At the international cognac competition “Crimea-98,” organized by the World Association of Vine and Wine, among 92 submitted samples, the “Manas-1000” Hors d’Age, “Manas” XO, “Kyrgyzstan” VVSOP and a 5-Star “Bishkek” VSOP cognacs were awarded gold medals.

Additionally, at international exhibitions such as “Eco-98,” “Bishkek-97,” “Kyrgyzstan-99,” “Kyrgyzstan-2001,” and “Kyrgyzstan-2002,” our cognacs were awarded gold medals and diplomas. At the international competition “Yalta. Golden Griffin – 2003,” held in late June of 2003 in Yalta, our cognacs received the following awards: Hors d’Age “Manas Eposuna 1000 Zhyl” – gold medal, VVSOP “Kyrgyzstan” – gold medal, and XO “Manas” – silver medal.
At the 11th International Competition “Yalta. Golden Griffin 2006,” our enterprise presented its Golden Collection of cognacs, which was duly recognized with four gold medals: “Enesai” – 20 years aged, “Epos” – 15 years aged, “Manas” – 10 years aged, and “Kyrgyzstan” – 6 years aged, each of which was awarded a Gold Quality Medal.
